PBB, Galvez dakog natabang sa pag GCQ sa Cebu City

Ang Project Balik Buhay (PBB) ug si Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. puro dakong mga rason sa pagkausab sa quarantine status sa Siyudad sa Sugbo gikan sa moderate enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ngadto sa general community quarantine (GCQ).

“The data-driven, evidencebased and scientific approach through PBB was the game changer that convinced the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) to downgrade Cebu City to GCQ,” matod ni Secretary Michael Dino, Presidential Assistant for the Visayas.

Dino, ang PBB nanginahanglan sa pagpahigayon og survey sa pagkatap isip suporta sa calibrated, scientific, evidencebased transition gikan sa ECQ ngadto sa GCQ alang sa mga siyudad sa Sugbo, Mandaue ug Lapu-Lapu. Ang prevalence test nasubay sa kamandoan ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte sa pagpatuman og mga lockdown sa level pa lang sa komunidad, di na siyudad o provincial level, tumbok pa niya.

“With prevalence testing, local government units can now see the enemy. We are no longer fighting COVID blind by using the Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rt-PCR) or rapid anti-body testing (RAT) to determine which areas have infections,” matod ni Dino.

Iya usab nga gipasalamatan si Galvez sa hugot nga pagduso pabor sa Siyudad sa Sugbo alang sa reclassification ngadto sa GCQ.

Matod sa taas nga opisyal sa kagamhanan, kinsa sakop sa IATF, si Galvez nisaksi nga ang Cebu City andam na alang sa GCQ kay ang mass testing nagamit niini sa pagtumbok ug pagbahig kon asa ang mga barangay nga apektado kaayo sa Covid-19, matod sa tinubdan.

Gitumbok usab ni Galvez ang kaandam kaayo sa siyudad sa bisan unsang posibleng outbreak tungod sa daghang mga pasilidad sa Covid nga giandam.

Nakatubag siya sa daghang mga pangutana sa IATF committee members tungod kay siya nakakita mismo atol sa iyang pagbisita sa Sugbo.

Si Secretary Dino nidayeg usab sa kooperasyon sa mga siyudad sa Sugbo, Mandaue ug Lapu-Lapu ug sa ilang mga mayor sa pagpatuman sa PBB.

Iyang gipasalamatan sila si Department of Health (DOH-7) Regional Director Jaime Bernadas, Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, DOH-7 chief pathologist ug Dr. Junjie Zuasulam, chief sa DOH7 Regional Epidemiology Surveillance Unit, tungod sa ilang way kaluya nga pagpahigayon sa prevalence survey.

“Because of scientific data base and strategic approach of the Project Balik Buhay, we were able to identify the areas and we were able also to find out that the extent of pandemic has gone down. And that we were able to identify the only remaining areas and we can just place (these areas) under segmental lockdown,” nagkanayon si Mayor Labella.
