The Tatler Dining Guide Philippines
Food exchange Manila
WHY GO
Food Exchange Manila is all about a well-curated, appetising, and exquisitely flavourful selection of dishes prepared carefully by the attentive kitchen staff.
TATLER TIPS
Begin your experience at the bread, charcuterie, and salad stations by the left side from the entrance and work your way through the other stations counterclockwise for a nice gustatory flow.
• The entrées are arranged by cuisine: Indian/Moroccan, Filipino, Italian, Spanish, and then the carving station. Don’t miss the beef caldereta, a traditional beef stew with potato, carrots, black olives, and red bell pepper.
• Try the pala-pala chicken inasal as well—which is the restaurant’s version of the signature Negrense dish served the way it would be in a pala-pala (grill) restaurant in Bacolod. There is also an array of marinated fish, pork, and chicken to pick from, all of which can be grilled à la minute.
