Celebrating 15 Years
Competition, passion, a sense of humour, excellence, and gratefulness—these are the keywords that sum up our 15 years here at the magazine. (On a personal note, I believe some sense of insanity and a lot of faith came into play as well.) As I look back to when we began in 2001, I am left with a sense of pride in the knowledge that we in this magazine have been able to impact individuals and society in one way or another. We have, indeed, succeeded in being a luxury, lifestyle, society magazine whose aim is to educate, entertain, and inspire.
In turn, this magazine has helped mould me into the person I am today. It has been a gratifying journey these last 15 years and I am thankful to all the people I have met and have made an impact, big or small.
We would like to thank the readers, old and new, who have believed in the Philippine

When we were planning for the cover, we were brainstorming on who could best represent our 15th year. We had difficulty in reaching a consensus but one thing was clear— we agreed that it had to be different and definitely unique. And finally, after much thought and deliberation, we came up with an idea we could truly be proud of. Our four-cover issue represents the best of the country in terms of creativity and artistic expression. We have the works of four masters— Anita Magsaysay-Ho, Ben-Cab, Arturo Luz, and Fernando Zóbel.
This issue you are holding is a labour of love; it encapsulates our DNA as a magazine. We tirelessly made sure that every section showcases the standards we hold true to. Like you do with fine wine, we hope you savour every moment.
Where do we go from here? Our world is rapidly changing. Although what lies ahead may be uncertain, our commitment in giving you what you deserve will remain. Our passion for excellence has become our trademark, so no matter what, you can always count on that.
