Retaining the 7-series Xxxxxxxxxx­xxxxDNA, this xxxxxxxxxx­xxxlatest sedan has a few tricks up its sleeve mw has parted the curtain on the latest version of its flagship model— the 7- Series full-size luxury sedan—and, believe me, it does not disappoint. The Munich carmaker has certainly done itself proud with its sixth generation creation. Just when you thought that there was very little BMW could do to further improve on its 7- Series, it comes out with a new model loaded with enhancemen­ts, mostly under the skin.

The new 7 sedan has a restyled skin, albeit slightly. Viewed from any angle, it cannot be mistaken for anything other than a BMW 7- Series sedan. Those familiar with the five previous generation­s should be aware of how its shape has evolved over the years—in one word, hardly. This is one model that has preserved its design DNA for six generation­s, with each generation’s look tweaked to keep up with the times, resulting in a fresh and modern look, yet unmistakab­ly a BMW 7-Series.

Like its predecesso­rs, the new sedan remains true to this design philosophy. Its new look is more evolutiona­ry than radical, reassuring long-time 7- Series admirers who did not care much—myself included—for the radical styling of BMW in the Bangel design era.

The interior is marvellous with its slew of new refinement­s and electronic enhancemen­ts, all aimed at making the drive more entertaini­ng, more interactiv­e, and more fun, particular­ly for its rear-seat passengers.
