Exclusively available at Chopard boutiques, the Happy Hearts watch is a delightful addition to the maison’s Happy Hearts collection, which is characterised by its motif of colourful hearts and dancing diamonds. Featuring a 36mm stainless steel case and a red alligator leather strap, the Happy Hearts watch sports a white dial made quite fanciful by the addition of five playful elements: three dancing diamonds, a dancing red heart in 18 carat white gold, and a second 18 carat white gold heart set with diamonds.
However, for all its delicate beauty, the Happy Hearts watch is another fine example of the attention to detail, excellence, and durability that has characterised the work of Chopard since 1860. On the outside, the actual watch case has a thickness of 10.45mm and is water-resistant for up to 30 metres. The polished stainless steel crown has a diameter of 6mm and is set with a blue sapphire and steel cabochons. Likewise, the bezel is also mad e of polished stainless steel and is topped with glare- proofed sapphire crystal. Inside, the watch has a 26.20mm quartz movement. The cone-shaped hour and minute hands are both plated with rhodium, as is the central sweep-seconds hand. A small date window is set just between the 4 o’clock and five o’clock positions on the watch-face.
