IS actress Angel Locsin dating businessman and film producer Neil Arce, the former boyfriend of actress Bela Padilla?
This after a photo of Locsin and friends taken in Hong Kong went viral recently, with Arce joining the group shot.
Prior to this, a netizen posted a photo of Locsin holding hands with a guy while watching the Coldplay concert in Taipei.
But television host Boy Abunda corrected that the image was taken in Hong Kong not Taipei.
During his late-night show “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” the popular TV host said that Padilla and Arce attended the press conference of “Luck At First Sight” which is a collaborative creation of the two celebrities.
Reporters attending the press conference sought Arce to comment on the viral photo but he refused.
‘Hindi ako artista wag n’yo akong tanungin,” said a smiling Arce when asked if he was really dating Locsin, as shown on a video clip.
Padilla, however, confirmed that Arce is back on the dating scene.
“I did not ask for specifics
but I am aware that he is in the dating scene. So I’m okay with that. Super!” Padilla said.
Asked if she is friends with Locsin, Padilla smiled and said: “Oo. We were all friends.”
But Padilla cut short her interview on Arce, saying he is not allowed to talk about her former boyfriend.
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to answer this question because he is right there and he firmly told me not to answer questions about him,” Padilla said.
She added: “Actually wala na akong say. Ok na talaga.”
Earlier, Padilla was rumored to be dating actor Zanjoe Marudo. But she said that they are just friends.
Abunda said that all these reports were just speculations because not one of them has confirmed the relationship.
“Lahat po itong speculations ay nangyayari because nobody is coming forward to say here is the thing. This is the truth. So we are waiting until we get to know the story,” he said.
Abunda also said that there is nothing wrong about these dating stories because all the celebrities involved are single. (Robert R. Requintina)
