She is a wannabe cop

Ahtisa revealed she wasn’t even supposed to join Binibining Pilipinas because she had already applied for training at the Philippine National Police Academy. “My uncles, also my grandfather, are part of the police force. I wanted to make a difference, I wanted to explore everything that I can, because I know I want to do a lot and that’s one of it,” she said.

If ever, she is willing to cut her hair short, as in really, really short – if need be.

She dreamt of becoming one of Charlie’s ‘Angels’

Ahtisa said the idea of becoming a police officer came because of her fascination with “Charlie’s Angels,” about three tough and pretty detectives under the tutelage of a mysterious handler.

She has a ‘special someone’

Ahtisa dismissed notion that she already have a boyfriend, but revealed she is seeing “someone special.”

“He is from the business side, so he knows strategy, marketing stuff and it helps me. He also advises me how to balance my time,” she shared.

She calls her pasarela the ‘Kandila Walk’

Before joining Binibining Pilipinas, Ahtisa was festival queen of Candelaria, Quezon where they celebrate the annual candle festival, thus ‘Kandila Walk.’

She is a cat-lover

Ahtisa has 21 cats. She loves them for being “very malambing.”
