24 new State prosecutors appointed
Malacañang has approved the appointments of 24 prosecutors at the Department of Justice (DoJ) this month.
Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the Palace released the names of the appointed prosecutors on Friday, July 3.
Guevarra said the 24 prosecutors will be assigned in various posts in the country under the DoJ’s National Prosecution Service (NPS).
Along with them, Guevarra said Malacanang also approved the appointment of Rosana Villordon Solite as Director II at the DoJ’s Parole and Probation Administration (PPA).
Sollite replaces to the post Edita Buemio.
Just last June, the Palace approved the appointment of 59 prosecutors at the NPS.
The 24 prosecutors whose appointments have been approved by Malacanang this month are the following:
1. Caybot-Gilapay, Cristina V. – Prosecutor I, Bacoor City
2. Silvala, Michael Philip Barrioquinto – Prosecutor II, Bacoor City
3. Vallejos, Virgel Amor Odroño – Prosecutor I, Tagum City
4. Avila, Lee Agerico Bautista – Prosecutor I, Catbalogan City
5. Rebuyon, Wilfredo De La Cruz – Prosecutor I, Surigao Del Sur
6. Salinas, Stephen Ivan Matibag – Prosecutor II, Quezon City
7. Libre, Jerahmeel Suson – Prosecutor IV, Digos City
8, Salem-Lopez, Sylvia Jean P. – Prosecutor III, Quezon City
9. Macagaan, Abdullah Datu – Prosecutor III, Cagayan De Oro City
10. Rosario, Bernard De Rivera – Prosecutor III, Makati City
11. Maranan-Cabatingan, Lalaine B. – Prosecutor III, Laguna
