Still praying for forgiveness
Actor Gerald Anderson was only too happy to comment on his girlfriend Julia Barretto being spotted interacting with his exgirlfriend Bea Alonzo at a party for Johnny Manahan last month.
When asked about it in an interview recently, the actor quipped, “Ganu’n talaga. Time heals.”
Much as he obviously liked what transpired, Gerald was not too keen on adding to it by saying more, simply maintaining the ideal for everyone is to “move forward.”
Well, it would be quite convenient for him indeed, aer all that has been said and done.
As Bea claims, Gerald cheated on her not once, but several times.
She didn’t name names but gossip has it that Gerald got involved with Pia Wurtzbach, then with Julia, while still with Bea.
To be clear, these have been unsubstantiated.
In any case, Bea said she confronted Gerald about it but the actor supposedly gaslighted, then ghosted her.
Gerald denied both claims, insisting he quit the relationship mainly due to it being too “toxic” for him – something that infuriates Bea to this day.
“He’s not holding himself accountable. That’s what really gets me. He has not changed. Not a bit. He was only protecting himself. He’s selfish,” she said.
It is as such that she has vowed never to work or ever be friends again with Gerald.
She once had a chance to confront the actor but he allegedly avoided her.
But what if they actually crossed paths?
Bea said, “I would’ve slapped him. I would have.”
She was able to find new love in the arms of Dominic Roque but they would eventually split months following their engagement.
As to Gerald, well, he is still hoping that one day, Bea would eventually forgive him.
He said, “I really pray, I really hope she will find it in her heart to forgive what happened, forgive me. Naghuhope lang ako.”
