Undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. posted a photo on his Instagram account where he was in a meeting with Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather's post shows a photo of the two boxers inside the suite of Pacquiao hours after they met at halftime of the NBA game between Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks last January 28.

Mayweather said that his camp is doing their best to close the deal for the megabout, contrary to claims of team Pacquiao and Top Rank chief Bob Arum.

“I set up this meeting with Manny Pacquiao to get this fight done but they will continue to tell the public it's us and that's NOT TRUE,” the caption read.

The photo confirmed the earlier radio report that Mayweather went to Pacquiao and had a “long chat” at the sala of Filipino's suit in Florida.

Meanwhile, in a report by The Associated Press, Arum said that two of the four issues have been resolved, including the airing of the fight.

The Top Rank honcho claimed that HBO, which holds the rights to air Pacquiao's fights, and Showtime have already agreed on the broadcast setup for the showdown.

"We had four issues and we resolved two," Arum explained. "Now we're working on resolving the other two. Unless something else comes up at the last minute, that's what my take is."

But Stephen Espinoza, vice president of sports for Showtime, denied of Arum's claim.

“Making progress, but neither boxers/ promoters nor networks have a deal yet,” Espinoza replied on Twitter.

If the fight still wouldn't happen, Pacquiao is looking at former sparring partner Amir Khan as his next opponent, while Mayweather is considering a rematch with Miguel Cotto.
