Registration on for SM run
Registration is on for the SM2SM Run V slated on Sunday, February 22. Runners may register at the upper ground floor, Sports Avenue near Sunburst, and at the upper ground floor, near The SM Store/across Ace Hardware in SM City Cebu.
Now on its fifth year, SM 2 SM Run V targets 4,000 runners to join the race which will start and end in SM City Cebu. The run will pass through the South Road Properties going to the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod and SM Seaside City Cebu, a project of SM Prime Holdings, Inc. which is slated to open late this year.
SM2SM Run V features 3K, 6K, 12K, and 21K categories. The run adds the 21K and 12K Foreign Runners Categories for foreign runners who wish to join the race. Timing chips will also be provided to all 21K and 12K runners. Gun time is at 5 a.m. for the 21K runners, 5: 15 a. m. for the 12K runners, and 5: 30 a. m. for the 6K and 3K runners.
This year’s SM2SM Run also highlights the participation of Cebuano personalities who have been part of international running competitions. These i nclude Mayor Duke Frasco, Noy and Amale Jopson, Marget Villarica, and Nia Aldeguer.
Registration fee is at P750 for 21K, P600 for 12K, and P400 for 6K and 3K.
Awarding of SM2SM Run winners will happen at the Northwing Atrium where premium items from mall t enants and other sponsors will be raffled off. All finishers will receive an eco- friendly bag from SM City Cebu filled with goodies.
