The family of the slain 'gun-for-hire' who was allegedly one of the three people behind the death of the ex-wife of reported bigtime drug lord Kerwin Espinosa denied allegations that he was working for drug personalities.

In an interview with The FREEMAN, the cousin of the alleged gunfor-hire Richard Singco Jungoy, one of the suspects in the shooting of Annalou Llaguno, Espinosa's ex-wife, said they believe Jungoy was innocent.

The cousin, who requested anonymity for fear of his safety, also said his cousin's last name was Jemina and not Jungoy.

He said his cousin was a good person and could not have been a gunfor-hire.

"Isip akoang kaliwat di ko moingon nga nahilambigit na siya, kay magkita mi maayo man siya," he said.

He admitted though that Jemina used drugs, but said he was surprised that Jemina was linked to top drug lords in Cebu City.

Jemina, who had a pending arrest warrant for murder and frustrated homicide charges, was shot dead Tuesday in Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City.

He was one of the three suspects in the killing of Llaguno. The other suspect, Michael Lendio, was also killed Monday night. The third suspect is still being sought by police.

However, Jemina's friend, a traysikad driver who also chose not to be named, said Jemina spoke about working with slain drug personality Jaguar Diaz. Jemina allegedly told him that he was a "town commander" for Jaguar. He added that Jemina once said about accepting orders from different people to kill people for P500 each.
