Summer Bubbles Up
Summer officially started on April Fools’ Day at Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort in Lapu-Lapu City. But partygoers and beach worshippers were definitely not fooled; they instead indulged in dancing and cheerful conversations at the resort’s first ever beach foam party dubbed "Prelude to Summer: Dance Carnival. "
More than 200 guests, including many foreign tourists, enjoyed the night infused with electronic dance music played by Cebu’s most sought-after disc jockeys DJ Marlon Orellano and DJ Marasigan at the Bluewater Private Island.
It was a ‘wet and wild’ experience. The sands glittered under soft lights and breezy skies. Guests danced on a bed of white foam that sparkled under strobe lights and glistened over their shoulders and hair.
A stretch of carnival-themed stalls of pica-pica food lined the beach. Of course, everyone's favorite was also served: lechon paired with pusô. Cold beer and softdrinks, perfect beverages to enjoy a beach party, were also at everyone’s disposal.
Games and raffle draws spiced up the night all the more. Among the prizes were a free trip and stay at any Bluewater Resort in Panglao, Bohol and Sumilon Island, aside from the resort in Lapu-Lapu City.
The guests danced their hearts out until late in the evening. It wouldn’t be the last foam party in Maribago Bluewater Resort as the resort hoped to continue the event in the resorts under that brand.
