Mikael Daez renews with GMA Network
Mikael Daez renewed his contract with GMA Network last May 11.
“I love it here. A big factor for that is, I’ve grown here,” the actor said. “Going on my seventh year in showbiz, ang dami ko ng friends. It feels good when you mix your work and personal life. Your work is your life already. Nag-e-enjoy talaga ako.”
Mikael is one of the lead stars of the Afternoon Prime series “Legally Blind.” He said that he enjoys working with everyone on set and he feels challenged with his character’s transformation. From being Grace’s (Janine Gutierrez) knight-in-shining armor, Edward became drugdependent because of his brother William’s (Marc Abaya) manipulative ways.
“Hindi ko alam na mangyayari ito sa character ko. I am super thankful because they gave me an opportunity to do something challenging.

Ricky [Davao] and the whole cast, they’ve been supporting me, at ang laking bagay nun. I think we’ve enjoyed and we’ve done our best to portray our characters in their truest sense.”
