“Saw all your love comments and I’m so happy. Finally. I love you everyone and see you soon,” the tweet added.

A month after her breakup with long-time girlfriend Alyssa Quijano, the globally-acclaimed 25-year-old changed her username in all of her social media accounts last Sunday.

In her Instagram account, the singer-songwriter deleted all previous posts as Charice and posted a blue-green 1x1 photo carrying the words “Thank you.”

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and respect.

I love you back and I’m sending peace to everyone,” the caption read.

The same clearance of posts also happened on his Twitter account, where Jake expressed his gratitude for those who supported him. He also recognized the articles that published his decision.

“I won’t let anyone ruin this moment. I won’t let anyone ruin my happiness. Thank you to all the beautiful write-ups about me,” Jake tweeted.

Jake first confirmed that he was a lesbian in 2013 during an exclusive interview on the weekly entertainment news and talk show “The Buzz.”

It was the same interview where the singer opened up about his relationship with Alyssa.

Since then, the singer has donned a new look with tattoos paired with his short blonde cut.

In 2016, Jake landed the cover of Mega Man magazine’s June or pride month issue.

Jake rose to fame in 2008 when he impressed US popular talk show host Oprah Winfrey on her show, and this opened doors to various gigs and record deals.
