Watching that huge rally for Pres. Trump

-

Yesterday morning, I turned on my TV to Fox News and they had a live coverage of US President Donald Trump speaking before a huge rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, right after the stunning win of Karen Handel, the Republican candidate in Georgia's special elections the other day that was dubbed as a political stronghold of the Democratic Party. That special poll was considered a Donald Trump victory and this has got the Democrats scratching their heads as to where they went wrong.

Listening to the hour-long speech of Pres. Trump gives you an idea of what the United States has gone through all those eight years under then Pres. Barrack Obama, who literally allowed America to be weakened. Perhaps the problem with the Democrats is that they have relied on their celebrity candidates, like the Clintons who have ruled the Democratic field for many decades until former first lady and secretary of state Hillary Clinton took on the Democratic leadership in the last elections, but lost to Pres. Trump. Sure she may have won a couple of million votes more than Trump in the popular vote, but then as you know elections in America is won by the electoral votes.

Incidentally, while Fox News focused its coverage on the speech of Pres. Trump, I switched over to CNN and they did not cover this presidential event but had their anchors discussing their pet peeve about Pres. Trump's possible links to the Russians during last year's elections. Clearly as Pres. Trump pointed out, the media does not report the real news like what happened in Cedar Rapids, where the stadium was packed with so many people from Iowa. Mostly the media focuses on anti-Trump protesters whose numbers are fast dwindling. Yet mainstream media still covers these events.

Finally, Pres. Trump pointed out that in making America great again, they needed to fix whatever is wrong with America. It means fixing their welfare system where people literally live in the US and do not need to work for a living. They need to fix Obamacare and make it more palatable to more Americans and they need to fix America's infrastructure. He pointed out that American airports like La Guardia, JFK, Newark, or LAX looked more like third world airports and that observation comes from the President of the United States. Hahaha! This was truly an honest assessment of American airports coming from an American president!

Lastly, Pres. Trump was determined to fight America's biggest problem of illegal drugs, falling short of saying that Pres. Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte was fighting the same battle with utmost efficiency! This included the fight against terrorism. At this point, we can only hope that someday, Pres. Duterte would meet with Pres. Trump and compare notes. What is crystal clear to me is that the Democratic Party has lost touch with mainstream America and come November, during their midterm elections, if the Democrats do not get their act together they will end up losing more seats in the Senate and Congress because their hate for Pres. Trump isn't healthy for the Democratic Party.
