Hotel conducts security drill
As part of its commitment to always ensure guest safety and security, Radisson Blu Cebu conducted an active shooter simulation exercise on September 5.
Organized in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, and the Mabolo Emergency Response Team, the two-day activity began with scenario reviews and table discussions among security forces on September 4, followed by the live simulation in the 400-room property on September 5.
Radisson Blu Cebu is the first hotel in Cebu, and the first property from the SM Hotels and Conventions group, to actively conduct the security drill. Distinct in its management and execution of safety procedures, the premier business hotel organizes yearround trainings and exercises to further ensure the strength and consistency of its security measures.
“We recognize the importance of safety and security in the hospitality industry. By working closely with local government institutions, we further strengthen our commitment to provide a safe and secure environment for our guests and business partners,” said General Manager Laurent Boisdron.
Radisson Blu Cebu is the only hotel in the Philippines to have received the security nod from the Safehotels network. The deluxe hotel currently holds an Executive Level Certificate from Safehotels Alliance AB.
