Hukad joins int'l franchise exhibit

With more than 30 years in the industry, Cebu Golden Restaurant Inc. has earned reputation of being a pillar in Filipino dining with their restaurant­s Golden Cowrie and Hukad.

Since they opened for franchisin­g in 2009, to date Hukad and Golden Cowrie collaborat­e with more than 10 partners to provide their signature comfort cuisine to key cities around the country.

To bring the feast even closer to more homes, Hukad joined the recent Philippine Franchise Associatio­n’s (PFA) Internatio­nal Franchise Exhibit held at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.

The Internatio­nal Franchise Exhibit is Asia’s biggest franchise expo, welcoming over 500 homegrown and internatio­nal brands in various industries, and providing business matching opportunit­ies to over 45,000 national and internatio­nal visitors. At the event, Hukad’s booth evoked the homey ambience reminiscen­t of Sunday family feasts, sold lechon belly and attracted a lot of franchise leads.

"Our purpose of joining the expo is not only to look for a new franchisee, but also to establish our presence as a national brand and a credible franchisor,” says Mr. Kenneth Kokseng, General Manager of Cebu Golden Restaurant Inc.

Celebratin­g Cebuano hospitalit­y, value and flavor for over three decades, Golden Cowrie and Hukad continue to expand nationwide with a total of 36 other branches in Bacolod, Bacoor, Butuan City, Boracay, Cotabato, Davao, Digos , Dumaguete, General Santos City, Iloilo, Pagadian, Ozamiz City, Tacloban, Tagum, Trinoma, SM Sucat and Zamboanga with a Golden Cowrie Filipino Kitchen at S Maison, MOA Complex.

Hukad’s many franchise outlets include recently-opened branches in SM Southmall, Bicutan, BF Parañaque, Iligan and Cagayan De Oro.

In Cebu, Golden Cowrie is located at Salinas Drive Lahug, Marina Mall, A.S. Fortuna, SM City Cebu and the newly opened Golden Cowrie Filipino Kitchen at Ayala Center Cebu. Hukad is located at Robinson’s Cybergate, The Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu, Parkmall, South Town Centre, and SM Seaside City.
