Japanese car maker deems Cebu as key market in Phl
A new dealership of Toyota Motors Philippines has opened in Mabolo as Cebu remains to be a key market for the Japanese car maker.
This is Toyota's fifth dealership in Cebu after Toyota Talisay, Toyota Cebu City, Toyota Mandaue-North and Toyota Mandaue-South.
The Toyota Mabolo dealership is owned by Coast Pacific Group, a Cebu-based furniture manufacturer.
Yvonne Bala, vehicle sales manager of Toyota Mabolo, said the demand for cars in the Cebu market is still strong.
She said Cebu has a very high potential as market for car dealership.
With this new dealership, company officials said Toyota's dealership in Cebu has looked saturated already although the Cebu market still presents opportunities for sales growth.
With a lot size of more than 7,000 sqm, the 3-floor dealership center can house a total of at least 15 car display units in its first-floor showroom.
Aside from sales, the Mabolo dealership, located along Pope John Paul IIAvenue, is also a one-stop shop for parts availability and vehicle servicing.
