A star-studded Bb. Cebu Coronation Night
On Saturday, October 28, history will be made with the coronation of the first-ever Binibining Cebu. Fifty-four candidates, highlighting each of Cebu’s 44 towns and nine cities, will vie for the most coveted crown.
Following pre-pageant activities such as last month’s Philippine Terno Competition, Swimsuit Gala Night and Femme Fatale: Evening Gown Competition, the Coronation Night is set to be an evening to remember.
Gracing the coronation night will be actor, dancer, singer and songwriter James Reid who has starred in numerous local television shows and movies.
Hey Joe Show, a group of Americans who rose to fame with acts that range from American takes on Filipino customs to popular songs translated into Bisaya, will also be in attendance. A special guest known for his Cebuano roots will also make the night more charming.
The pageant will be hosted by Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry, who will be joined by the father-son tandem of Edu and Luis Manzano—both renowned hosts and respected names in Philippine show business.
The coronation night is orchestrated by Cebu’s best creative minds with stage design and concepts pioneered by world-renowned furniture designer and member of organizing Batch 1985 Kenneth Cobonpue as Creative Producer and wardrobe designs led by internationally acclaimed fashion designer Cary Santiago as Pageant Chairperson.
Organized by the Bb. Sugbu Charity Foundation Inc. in cooperation with the
Sacred Heart School for Boys Batch 1985 Foundation, Inc., Yahoo! Philippines, and Xionwei Technology Co., Binibining Cebu, a platform to promote the culture of Cebu to the world, seeks an extraordinary and well-rounded woman to represent the Cebuana of today.
In her one-year reign, the crowned winner will be given the opportunities to pursue social and humanitarian advocacies, as well as serve as an Ambassadress of Cebu, by engaging in various activities both in Cebu and other parts of the country through the Binibining Sugbu Charity Foundation, Inc.
The winning candidates will also walk away with a dazzling P2.2 million total in prizes.

Tickets are priced at P3,000, P2,000, P1,500 and P1,000 for the reserved seats and are only available at the Binibining Cebu Office at the Greenery in Mabolo while free seating mezzanine tickets are at P500 and are available in all Dessert Factory and Dong Juan branches.
