Iglesia ni Cristo brings aid to 2,500 individual­s

Over 2,500 beneficiar­ies including children, women, and persons with disabiliti­es benefitted from the unpreceden­ted Iglesia Ni Cristo medical and dental mission dubbed Aid for Humanity Cebu leg held at Paknaan, Mandaue City last October 29.

The event is in cooperatio­n with FYM Foundation supported with the local government of Mandaue City and with the helping hands of medical practition­ers inside the religious group.

Offered in the medical services are pre-natal, tooth extraction, medical consultati­on, pregnancy ultrasound, x-ray, and ECG; medicines are also duly given like vitamins and treatment medicine.

The Aid for Humanity simultaneo­usly happens in different parts of the world including New Zealand, China, Europe, Cambodia, Mexico, Korea, Hong Kong, Guam, Singapore, Malaysia, and in some localities of the United States of America.

In the country, regional movement are doing the same; aiming for one reason to help identified community who needs aid on health and everyday necessitie­s. The beneficiar­ies also received goodwill bags containing rice grains, canned goods, noodles, and food packs.

Included in the drive are Bohol, Batangas, Benguet, Sultan Kudarat, Davao, Zamboanga, Ilo-Ilo, Laguna, Catanduane­s, and the war torn area of Marawi City.

Through the help of FYM Foundation, the outreach program of the Iglesia Ni Cristo goes around the world and assures first hand and quick response to devastated places caused by natural disasters, giving temporary aid to neutralize crisis.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo administra­tion aspire to reach every community in the world that needs support for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life through showing love and affection that goes an extra mile.
