Depression

I’ve noticed that more counselees referred to me are suffering from depression. Causes vary: brokenheartedness, career stifled by family demands and sickness.

I journey with them as a professional but I can’t resist passing on the need for prayer and faith.

I have no doubt in my heart that an “increase in faith” – having complete trust in the Lord – solves half of the problem.

In my own life, I’ve carried on with a low-grade depression for several years after my father died. But work, prayers and complete trust in the Lord helped me through it.

Listening to God and oneying His direction can weather any human condition.
