As the holiday season approaches, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) brings in the holiday spirit through taking part in various activities and advocacy with much joy, happiness and benevolence.

CCCI JOINS 2017 CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

In keeping up the focus on several initiatives and intervention, which help bring business to the next level, CCCI will participate in the 2017 Christmas Tree Festival of Robinsons Galleria Cebu, a bonafide member of the chamber.

This Christmas Tree Exhibit is an annual fundraising

project, launched on November 12, 2017 with the collaboration of business establishments, civil society organizations, academe, among others as benefactors/ donors. Proceeds of the funds that could be generated from the exhibit would go to the target recipients of the donors.

CCCI has selected this year, Dalaguete Vegetable Growers Association (DAVEGA) in Dalaguete, Cebu as the would-be recipient.

DAVEGA is composed of more than 100 vegetable growers and has been the first Philippine Good Agricultural Practices (PhilGAP) Certified association in the province of Cebu since 2016. This was a result of the Chamber’s OURFood program with assistance from the AFOS Stiftung Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development.

Since then, Cebu has been benefitting from the safe and healthy GAP-certified vegetables of DAVEGA.

The 2017 Christmas Tree Festival will be showcased at the 2nd Floor, Hotel side of Robinsons Galleria Cebu located at General Maxilom Avenue corner Sergio Osmeña Boulevard, Brgy. Tejero, Cebu City.
