The Cebu Provincial Government opened yesterday the "Pasko s aKapitolyo 2017" where various local government units display their products at the Agri-Fishery Trade Fair and Exhibit organized by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.

Pasko sa Kapitolyo is a week-long event celebrated every year at the Capitol grounds to give the LGUs from all over the province to showcase their products.

Out of the 51 invited LGUs, only 27 were able to come for this year's AgriFishery Trade Fair and Exhibit. According to provincial agriculturist Roldan Saragena, some LGUs may have their own events preventing them from participating. Aside from the LGUs there are also 33 private exhibitors and three partner agencies.

All LGU participants will compete in the best booth and early decorated booth. Winners will be awarded during the Capitol Christmas Party on December 22. The first prize for best booth will receive P20,000; second prize is P17,000; and P15,000 for third prize. Non-winners will also receive P2,000 consolation prize. Early decorated booth will get P5,000.
