Epicurean Banquet at the Christmas Ball

Members and friends of the Chaine Des Rotisseurs were hosted an epicurean banquet by Radisson Blu Cebu, in celebratio­n of the gastronomi­c society’s Christmas Ball on Friday, December 8.

Aptly entitled “A Starry Evening at the BLU,” the annual gala presented a celestiall­y inspired seven-course meal for the 120 guests. The dinner was exquisitel­y prepared by Executive Chef Roberto Kunitz and his team of 40 culinary experts.

Handsomely complement­ed by a collection of fine wines, all personally selected by general manager Laurent Boisdron, the ambrosial feast was skilfully served by a parade of 118 waiters under the seasoned guidance of director of food and beverage Ramon Makilan.

The gourmet evening further impressed the guests with an elegant program directed by SM Hotels brand ambassador Nestor Jardin, and smoothly orchestrat­ed by Radisson Blu Cebu’s director of events Ruby Nepomuceno.

Attended by members of Cebu’s business and social elite, the Chaine Des Rotisseurs Christmas Ball treated guests to performanc­es by violinist Jobry Cimafranca, singer-songwriter Lara Maigue, pianist Jesper Mercado, and premier dance company Ballet Philippine­s, all to great delight of the diners.
