Mandani Bay distributes gifts

-

Mandani Bay made Christmas extra meaningful with gift-giving events in various parts of Metro Cebu, bringing the joy of the season to the homes which needed it the most and the hearts of those who might have been forgotten.

It was a very merry Christmas party for the schoolchildren of Candulawan Elementary School in Minglanilla on December 19. The Mandani Bay Team visited them with bundles of happiness.

Lunch was served for the over 600 students of the school, as well as the faculty and administration, members of the school Parents Teachers Association, barangay officials and the local police force. All the children, enrolled in the academy’s kinder to Grade 6 levels, were given shoes and school and hygiene kits.

A food pack was given to each of the teachers of Candulawan Elementary School and a projector was donated to the institution. The Team joined the children for a round of celebratory singing.

In Cebu City, Mandani Bay’s officers and staff shared Christmas cheer in coordination with the Missionaries of Charity in Barangay Pasil.

Milk, diapers and other infant supplies were delivered by the team to the charity group’s orphanage for the use of the 20 orphan children being sheltered there. The 20 caretakers who minister to the babies were also given food packs to take home to their families.

The young people of San Roque Parish in Mambaling, the parish adopted by the Missionaries of Charity, also received gifts from the company.

The 200 youth group members of the parish were treated with meal packs and given backpacks and hygiene kits. The group presented a heartwarming reenactment of Jesus’s birth.

Back at the Mandani Bay project site, the joy of Christmas was shared with those working there. The project’s janitors, drivers, gardeners and other on-site workers were given food packs and a sumptuous lechon for their Christmas party.
