Two 13-year-old females were allegedly abducted by a 34-year-old woman at Deca Homes in Barangay Dumlog, Talisay City on Christmas day.

The father of one of the victims went to the police station yesterday to file a case of human trafficking after seeing that his daughter had kiss marks on their necks.

The FREEMAN is withholding the names of the victims due to the sensitivity of the issue.

The father said that his 13-year-old daughter went out of their house in the morning of December 25. The girl has not returned since then.

Another father said her daughter went missing on January 2.

Both fathers suspected their daughters have been used for sexual favors.

But according to the police, the most appropriate case to be filed against the suspect is child abuse.

Both fathers received reports that their daughters was seen at the said area and immediately asked for police assistance. They also reported the incident at the barangay on January 5.

Around 2 p.m. last Tuesday, the victims were rescued from the suspect.

Suspect Lorna Salazar is currently detained at the police station while the two girls as well as the suspect's son are in the custody of City Social Welfare and Development Office. Both victims are best friends.

Salazar, in an interview, denied abducting those girls. She said the minors were not forced to go with her to Bohol.

Salazar explained that both minors were at their house during Christmas, but sent both of them home.

She later found out one of the girls went with her 17-yearold son to Bohol. Her son and one of the victims are lovers, she claimed.

She added that she was not able to contact her son and the girl because there is no coverage in the island.

Her family is planning to go to Bohol to attend a wedding of her sister.

Last January 3, the other 13-year-old reportedly asked her about the whereabouts of the other girl.

Salazar said she went to Bohol in the afternoon of January 5 together with the other 13-year-old girl, allegedly upon the latter's request.

They came back to Cebu on January 9.

"Ila ra gyud ng desisyon nga mokuyog nako. Kung mang-kidnap man gali ko dili ko na dalhon pabalik sa Cebu uy," she said.

Police Officer 1 Janeth Marquez of the Women's and Children's Police Desk said that City Prosecutor Marshal Rubia advised them that the case they should file is violation of the RA 7610 or child abuse.
