Big cash prizes, premium items for SM run winners

Almost one million pesos in cash prizes for the top finishers, and premium items for the raffle draw await runners joining the SM2SM Run 8 on February 18.

The cash-rich and one of the most anticipated running events in the country, the SM2SM Run 8 will be raffling off 8 Cathay Pacific round trip tickets to Hong Kong, 8 Samsung Galaxy Note 8, 8 Samsung LED TVs, Fujifilm camera, Instax, 6 gift certificates for an overnight stay at Sheridan Beach Resort in Palawan, 3 gift certificates for an overnight stay for 2 in Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, 8 gift certificates for an overnight stay for 2 at Parklane International Hotel, Swatch watches, buffet breakfast coupons in Bayfront Hotel, and round trip tickets with tourist accommodation via Trans Asia. All registered runners are qualified to join the raffle.

The race starts and ends at the SM City Cebu and will feature 21k, 12k, 8k and 4k distances. Gun time is 4 a.m. for 21k, 5 a.m. for 12k, and 5:15 a.m. for the 8k and 4k distances. The 21K and 12K will have the 39-below, 40-49 age group, 50-above and foreign divisions.

This year’s race route will cover S. Osmeña Boulevard, Osmeña Boulevard from Plaza Independencia up to the Provincial Capitol, Escario St., Gorordo Avenue, Salinas Drive, Archbishop Reyes Ave. up to Family Park, and Pope John Paul II Avenue.

Registration fee is P550 for 4K, P650 for 8K, P750 for 12K, and P950 for 21K. Each runner will get a breakfast meal, loot bag with premium items from sponsors, and a ticket for the raffle draw.

Registration is ongoing until February 15 at the 2nd level of The Northwing near iStore at the Cyberzone, 2nd level of The Northwing near Flawless, and at the upper ground level of the main mall near McDonalds.
