Grocery and Food Concierge Service in Cebu
A Singapore-based on-demand concierge service is beginning to make waves in Cebu City – banding grocery shopping and food delivery services with smartdevice technology.
Named “Honestbee,” the service has been on soft operations mode in Cebu since the last quarter of 2017 – servicing users through a mobile application that allows them to pick out grocery items from a curated set of grocers, then have the ordered items delivered at specified locations.
The operational scope of the service is analogous with that of popular ride-hailing applications in the sense that it works through a smartphone application and a smartdevice’s active mobile internet connection to process orders and deliveries.
Like most online shopping/service suites, its payment options cover credit/debit card payments, electronic paywall service options or the ever-popular cash-ondelivery setup.
The application is backed by a fleet of trained concierges who do the actual grocery shopping for customers and a fleet of delivery personnel who are dispatched to process the deliveries.
Launched in Singapore in July 2015 and currently active in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Manila, the app-and-service suite’s highlights in Cebu currently covers grocery shopping/delivery and food deliveries through partner establishments.
