NS Royal Hotel Now Open

NS Royal Hotel (formerly NS Pensionne) officially opened last January 8 after its renovation major renovation in 20 years. Msgr. Joselito Tajanlangi­t, a dear friend of the Ting family, blessed all the Suites and De Luxe rooms, and every nook and crany of the hotel.

Nixon “Jojo” Dizon, president of Nicol Shirl Realty Corporatio­n said they have transforme­d and re-branded the 20 year old NS Royal Pensionne into NS Royal Hotel to meet the increasing demand for mid-market accommodat­ion in Cebu. “We felt the timing was right with all the developmen­ts we are seeing in Cebu now.”

The hotel underwent major renovation­s, including the lobby, dining area, 37 guest rooms and boardrooms, as well as their function room with a capacity for 100-120.

NS Royal Hotel is proud to welcome FUDGE restaurant and pastry shop. “We love Fudge’s affordable, quality food and desserts, especially the best lava cake in town.”

Joshua Ouano Dizon, eldest grandson of Nick and Shirley Ting, has been appointed as the new chief operating officer to run the establishm­ent with the goal to cater to both business and young travelers. Joshua emphasized that they are focused to give the best comfort and restful stay for every guest. They have made an extensive investment on their beds and linens. “We may be a two-star hotel but we want to give our customers five-star service. This includes a high-speed Wifi connection that they can enjoy in all the rooms.”
