This is the year that shall usher in not only tremendous opportunities for progress but also many unpredictable situations. In the Philippines, the economy shall continue to grow over and above the average ASEAN economic growth rate, and business taipans shall continue to prosper in leaps and bounds, but there shall be volatility in political and security matters. The legal and political systems shall face a crucial test and the people shall be in constant agitation for changes and reforms. I hope that the economic growth shall be huge enough to balance out whatever the downside that instability shall bring about.
