Diagnostic firm banks on corporate clientele

-

Diagnostic center Prime Care is banking on the corporate market to expand its clinic management services.

Company officials said the number of companies the firm is serving in clinic management continues to grow.

The company is currently serving close to 40 companies nationwide including BPO and manufacturing companies in their medical manpower needs.

Of the number, around 20 are companies operating in Cebu.

Philip Neri Estocada, director for marketing, said the company is also the one operating an advance airport medical facility at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

The firm seeks to grow its clientele in clinic management to address the needs of medical manpower of local companies.

"Our market is mostly corporate," he said in a press interview at the launch of the firm's newest location of its diagnostic center in APM Centrale from SM City Cebu previously.

The 680-square meter ambulatory medical facility offers diagnostic services such as laboratory tests, imaging services (x-ray and ultrasound), dental, radiology, audiometry, consultation, aesthetic and minor surgery and other medical services.

The facility serves corporate clients and walkin customers. It mostly caters to pre-employment tests and executive check-ups.

While there is no definite plan yet, Tinna Aznar, general manager, said the company may consider building another diagnostic center in the future considering the increasing demand for medical health services.

"Demand for health is not seasonal, it’s regular," Estocada also said.

Currently, Prime Care has close to 200 medical staff including doctors, nurses and medical assistants.

The company is owned and operated by Medgruppe Inc.
