Cebuana actress Devon Seron now a Kapuso

Cebuana actress Devon Seron surprised television viewers when she appeared in an episode of GMA’s primetime series “The One That Got Away” starring Lovi Poe, Max Collins, Rhian Ramos, and Dennis Trillo.

The 24-year-old shot to fame after being hailed the fourth placer in 2010’s edition of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash” where James Reid was declared as Big Winner. The two were later paired in a 2011 show called “Good Vibes.”

In an episode which aired March 7, Devon appeared as a new character, alongside Kapuso heartthrob Pancho Magno. In the arc, Devon plays Pancho’s girlfriend. Max who portrays Darcy, mistakes Pancho’s role of Wes as he “secret admirer,” runs into Devon and Pancho’s characte and trouble ensues. The scene was also a sort of reunion for Devon and fellow “PBB: Teen Clash” 2010 batch mate Ivan Dorschner, who plays a character named Iñigo

It turns out that Devon’s sudden appearance on the Kapuso primetime romantic comedy show wasn’t that sudden. In a PEP.ph report, ABS-CBN talent manageme arm Star Magic confirmed her network transfer. According to Star Magic, Devon bid farewell to the Kapamilya network on February 16.

The former GirlTrends member had been blessed with a handful of projects throughout her career in ABS-CBN including teleseryes “Batang Ama” in 2011, “Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto” the year after, as well as “Maria Mercedes” in 2013, “Moon of Desire” and “Forevermor­e” in 2014, and in 2016’s “Be My Lady.”

She got her biggest break last year when she starred in the first Filipino-Korean film “You With Me” alongsid Korean actors Hyun Woo at Jin Ju Hyeong.
