Pink Paddlers to embark on toughest challenge yet
LOS ANGELES — Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points to lead Milwaukee to a 97-86 victory over the Boston Celtics on Thursday that kept the Bucks alive in the NBA playoffs.
With the victory Milwaukee forced a winner-take-all game seven on Saturday in the Eastern Conference firstround series.
"We said as a team before the game that we're going to play hard, that we're going to win this game no matter what. Our season's not going to end," said Antetokounmpo.
"That's what we did tonight – we moved the ball really well. We were disciplined."
Antetokounmpo, the Greek forward whose blend of size and skill have made him a rising star in the NBA, bounced back from a serieslow 16 points scored in the Bucks' game five loss with a dominant performance.

The Cebu Pink Paddlers will embark on their most challenging race yet this year, Singapore’s biggest bay festival dubbed as “DBS Marina Regatta 2018” on May 26-27 at the Marina Bay in the Lion City.
The Pink Paddlers, the country's first dragon boat team composed of all-female breast cancer survivors, will see action for the first time in Singapore. They will be up against their fellow cancer survivors all over the world.
“It’s their first time competing in SG and first time to compete with survivors open, meaning it’s not just breast cancer survivors but it's open for all cancer survivors,” said Cebu Pink Paddlers head coach Christian Ian Sy. “It is yet our most challenging race this year because it will be all-women versus all men or mixed men/women.”
The Pink Paddlers will compete in the 500m survivors open category.
“We are both excited and pressured at the same time kay lahi ra baya ang strength sa lalaki unya ang atong pambato are all women but we will prepare for that. We are hoping na 19 points as they pulled away in the waning minutes.
"At the end, it was about will," Antetokounmpo said. "I was out there, I was trying to make plays, I was trying to be aggressive."
Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon added 16 points apiece for the Bucks, who lost an elimination game six on their home floor last year.
"We're a better team now," Antetokounmpo said. "We have a big opportunity ahead of us."
But to reach the second round they'll have to do what neither team has done in the

The winner of the series will face Philadelphia in the second round. The 76ers beat the Miami Heat 4-1 in their first-round series.
The Celtics looked determined to bring the series to an end as they built a ninepoint lead in the first quarter.
But the Bucks took the lead in the second quarter, using a 14-2 scoring run to take a 48-39 halftime lead.

Liberty Rañoa, Rosalie Cobre, Sarah Jane Villegas, Eden Paluca, Nonie Percy, Judith Beltran, Flor Mangapis, Morena Pingco and Aida de los Reyes.
After Singapore, the Pink Paddlers will defend their title in the Keelung International Dragon Boat Festival in Keelung City, Taiwan this October. They are also invited to take part in the Penang International Dragon Boat Race on December 8-9 in Malaysia. —
