Tanods to receive honoraria tomorrow

At least 23 of the 80 barangays have submitted the consolidat­ed accomplish­ment reports for the Barangay Tanod Financial Assistance as of yesterday.

Cebu City Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (COSAP) Head Garry Lao said these barangays include Kalunasan, Paril, Sudlon 1, Guba, Binaliw, Suba, Bulacao, Taptap, Pit-os,Sta. Cruz, Mabolo, Tinago, Hipodomo, Pulangbato, Tabunan, Kamputhaw, Punta Princessa, Bacayan, Tagba-o, Adlaon, Pahina Central, Zapatera, and Apas.

"Based on the memo of the mayor, we have to submit it every first day of the first month," said Lao.

Lao said the submission of the accomplish­ment reports is essential in the release of their honoraria.

He, however, said that their office will still accept late submission of the consolidat­ed report, but the process of their honoraria will be late as well.

"We will still accept sa mga barangays na ma-late pero unahon sa ni namo og process ang nauna og submit,” Lao added.

Lao said that misspelled names and missing requiremen­ts are some reasons of the tanod's honoraria are delayed.

The COSAP will release another set of honoraria to about 27 barangays for the month of January and to 29 barangays for the month of February tomorrow.

The 27 barangays that is expected to get honoraria for the month of January include Banilad, Basak Pardo, Basak San Nicolas, Binaliw, Budla-an, Buot, Calamba, Carreta, Duljo Fatima, Inayawan, Luz, Malubog, Pahina Central, Pamutan, Poblacion Pardo, Quiot, Sambag 2, San Antonio, San Jose, Sapangdaku, Sawang Calero, Sto. Niño, Suba,Tinago, Tisa,To-ong, and Zapatera.

While the 29 barangays that would receive honoraria for the month of February include Apas, Basak Pardo, Budla-an, Buot, Busay, Calamba, Capitol Site, Day-as, Kamputhaw, Kasambagan, Kinasang-an, Lahug, Luz, Mabini,Malubog, Pahina San Nicolas, Pamutan, Pasil, Poblacion Pardo, Punta Prinsesa, San Antonio, San Nicolas Proper, Sapangdaku, Sawang Calero, Suba, Sudlon 2, Tabunan, Tinago, To-ong, and Zapatera.

Each tanod will receive 4,000 pesos per month.
