The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) continues its concerted efforts to promote, inspire and help grow Cebu’s business sector by spearheadi­ng various economic programs and trainings, fostering multi-sectoral linkages and through its annual flagship project — the Cebu Business Month (CBM).

CBM 2018 Grand Launching and Press Conference set

From the successful CBM 2018 Mini Press Conference conducted last April 26, CCCI is set to hold the CBM 2018 Grand Launching and Press Conference on May 10 at 4pm at the Manila Room, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.

Bannering the theme “Innovate Cebu!”, CBM has an array of activities this year, which aims to convene industry stakeholde­rs, business leaders, and innovators across various sectors.

CBM is an annual flagship event of the chamber celebrated for the whole month of June.

In this year, CCCI Trustee Benedict Y. Que chairs the month-long celebratio­n.

CBM 2018 will highlight Innovation­s in tourism, entreprene­urship, in ICT/BPM (Informatio­n and Communicat­ions Technology/ Business Process Management).

CBM is now on its 22nd year.

CCCI holds Two-Day Food Packaging

and Labeling Training

CCCI will conduct a two-day Food Packaging and Labeling Training on May 23 – 24 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at DOST Regional Office 7, Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.

This training hopes to help food businesses understand the key food labeling requiremen­ts to be able to design a product packaging legally and correctly. This course explains each of the food labeling requiremen­ts under the regulation­s and provides informatio­n on what CAN and CANNOT be stated in relation to nutritiona­l claims and health claims.

Registrati­on fee is at P5,000 for CCCI members and Php 6,000 for Non-CCCI Members.
