The Batang Pier had to play the final 8:09 of the game without an import as Malcolm White was ejected on a second technical foul. He contributed 25 points and 10 rebounds before exiting the game.

The Neon Nation was saved by key buckets from Nico Elorde and Mo Tautuaa. With 48 seconds remaning, Elorde hit a crucial three-pointer to give his team a 9592 lead. San Miguel was able to score on the next possession but Tautuaa answered with a layup off of a Pringleforced San Miguel turnover.
