alf-time analysis

-

Just like in sports, our lives also experience half-times. It’s called midlife. If there’s no half-time analysis, it can lead to a crisis. Medical materials present general symptoms of this crisis, but here’s my own:

•An inner gnawing feeling of low self-worth and self-blame

•A longing for the unidentified and unexplained

•An inward “hollow” feeling

•Sadness and an absurd want to be cared for

•Missing the good old days

•Flawed contemplation of giving up and even dying

Blessed be God for life’s companions who named my personal “demon.” My Light Group, composed of Bo Sanchez,Arun Gogna, andAlvin Barcelona, lovingly told me, it’s mid--life crisis. Boom!

The moment I identified my narrow road, I began to embrace and overcome it. Slowly, painstakingly, and miraculously, my midlife turned from a crisis to a challenge. I became a better and brighter person after traveling it. I now look forward to another half of life to conquer.

Indeed, the narrow road leads to life – a life with Jesus, my beautiful Way! Obet Cabrillas

Lord Jesus, grant me the courage and strength to enter through the narrow

gate and to find You my Way, my Truth, and my

Life. Amen.
