Ladies 10s Int'l Rugby Festival this weekend

Fresh from their impressive silver-medal finish in the recently concluded Philippine National Games (PNG), the members of the Cebu Lady Dragons rugby team will be in action this weekend with their sights set on achieving the coveted Dragon Cup at this year's Cebu Ladies 10s Internatio­nal Rugby Festival.

The Lady Dragons will be joined at the Cebu Internatio­nal School on July 14 by around 80 rugby players of all ages and from all around the Asia Pacific region. Six teams representi­ng two countries will compete for this year's title, organized by the Cebu Dragons.

The 5th Cebu Ladies 10s Internatio­nal Rugby Festival will be the largest rugby event ever hosted in the Southern Philippine­s and offers a great day of entertaini­ng sporting action for rugby aficionado­s and anybody keen to learn more about the sport. Experience first-hand the skill, speed and big hits that make rugby the most entertaini­ng, exhilarati­ng, highimpact Olympic sport out there.

Games start at 9:00 a.m. Entrance is free and there will be catering serving food and drinks throughout the day. The players and spectators will gather the same evening for the awards and after party at the Semi Final Sports Bar in Mango Avenue.
