RUSI gets green light to extend building

-

Plans to extend the RamasUypitching Sons, Inc. (RUSI) main building along Mabini St. in Dumaguete City has been approved by the company’s board of directors and is set to complete in the 3rd quarter of 2019.

Designed by Architect Ned Carlos, principal architect of CARLOS & ANTIQUE ARCHITECTS, the RUSI extension is based on the design principles of transparency, mobility, elevation, air and light, optimizing the departments already installed within the main building.

Structurally designed to withstand a magnitude 8.0 earthquake, the RUSI extension building will be a 5-storey structure to be constructed by Bwaha Developers Corporation, headed by Engr. Paul S. Ramas-Uypitching, RUSI’s resident engineer, in design collaboration with Architect Ned Carlos who also designed RUSI’s main office building, completed back in May of 2011, along Sta. Rosa St. in Dumaguete City.

RUSI, an all-Filipino brand of motorcycles with headquarters in Dumaguete City, is one of the leading brands of assembled motorcycles and has over 900 branches in the country.
