SMB goes for the kill in Game 4

-

San Miguel coach Leo Austria cited his team's lack of energy as factor in Friday's 125-104 loss to the Alaska Aces that denied the Beermen a sweep of their PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinal series.

Advantage remains on San Miguel's side with a 2-1 lead going into Game 4 tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum,

with Austria hoping for a renewed vigor from his players.

The usually-sharp Beermen committed 20 turnovers during the match, allowing the Aces to convert them into 25 points even as

they found no answers against a group of reserve players who were able to sustain a big lead in the fourth quarter.

"In terms of energy, wala talaga kaming energy," Austria rued after emerging from dugout of the Ynares Center here.

"It's hard to win all games, considering na Alaska ang kalaban namin. Alam namin na this third game na their backs are against the wall at ibibigay nila lahat ng makakaya nila, and it happened.

"But on our part, we did not play our game. We played their game. Outhustled kami, outplayed," he added.

"I hope na we come out next game na talagang full of energy. I don't know kung nakatulong ba yung three days off prior to this game," Austria said.

Game 3 supposedly scheduled last Wednesday at the Big Dome was cancelled due to inclement weather. —
