Police Officer 3 Jose Lac son, Jordan Police investigator, said the woman remains unidentified, as of this writing. He said a certain Juanito Ganje, a resident of nearby Barangay Sta. Teresa, discovered the halfnaked body of the woman at around 7:30 a.m.

Ganje was herding his cows in the area when he felt the need to defecate. As he was looking for a hidden spot, he saw cut branches of trees. Ganje initially thought there was a couple who was having sex, considering that, a few weeks back, he saw a couple doing such in the area.

But Ganje was taken aback to see a dead woman, whose upper garment are rolled up while his underwear and pants were rolled down to her ankle, narrated the investigator to The FREEMAN.

Lac son said the woman’s face was deformed with her head appeared to have been smashed by a hard object. He added that she could have been dead for several hours already when found.

Initial findings of the Scene of the Crime Operations ( SOCO) team revealed that the woman suffered massive fractures on her frontal lobe and forehead.

A bar an gay councilperson claimed to have seen what appeared to be the same woman and a man around 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, but she only saw them from behind and both had backpacks on them.

When found, the dead woman, estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, had no personal belongings with her. Investigators only saw socks, a pink handkerchief, a plastic wrapper of condom, and several strands of hair at the crime scene.

Lac son said they already sent a flash report to other police stations in Guimaras province to ascertain if there was a reported missing woman in their respective areas. Several schools were also advised to account of their students.
