AppleOne hosts dinner for Ironman participants

-

Cebu developer AppleOne Properties Inc. (API) welcomed media and select professional triathletes of the recently concluded Regent Aguila IRONMAN 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship in a media dinner on August 3.

The venue was the Show Pavilion of Southeast Asia’s first Sheraton residential development, The Residences at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort.

Guests included Manila-based writers from the country’s top media outlets as well as professional triathletes Kevin Collington, Lauren Brandon, Manami IIjima, Lisa Tyack, and Lauren Goss. All ladies would later finish among the race’s Top Pro Women.

Also in attendance were members of the Omega Pro Triathlon Team including Team Marketing Manager Tonyson Lee and API’s AVP for External Affairs Ria Ledesma, Sales Director Lilian Foskanger, and Sales Manager Louelle Judilla, as well as AppleOne Mactan Inc. (AMI) Sales Manager Julie Amen.

The dinner saw the coming together of two proudly Bisaya enterprises.

API is a homegrown company based in Cebu City, which takes pride in injecting innovation into each of its developments. API’s AppleOne Banawa Heights is the first in Cebu to introduce the gated condominium and private cluster concepts in condominium living. It is also the first condominium development in Cebu to provide keyless access and five swimming pools.

API’s first development, AppleOne Equicom Tower, is the first mixed use development in the Cebu Business Park, the premier business district outside of Manila. Its subsidiary AMI is the developer of The Residences at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort, the first Sheraton branded residences in Southeast Asia and the first in the region to be built according to international brand standards from the ground, up.

Ledesma speaks of API’s thrust in serving the interests of its consumers with innovation and business sophistication, “We put quality over quantity. Very careful thought goes into every API development because the aim is always to cater to a niche that has yet to be attended to.”

Team Omega, conversely, takes pride in its roster composed of Bisaya athletes, with bulk coming from Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. Cagayanon Banjo Norte himself successfully attained the Asian Elite Crown for the second year in a row in the recent Regent Aguila IRONMAN 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship.

“It’s good to see a band of Bisayas take their place on the podium alongside the best in the country. There is so much talent in the Bisaya region and honing that talent is what Team Omega is here for,” says Team Marketing Manager Tonyson Lee.
