The Cebu City government has promised to help the Philippine National Police in the expansion project of Police Station 7 in Barangay Pardo.

Councilor David Tumulak, deputy mayor on police matters, said that Mayor Tomas Osmeña approved his recommendation to expand the police station.

Tumulak, however, said he has no idea yet as to how much the city government is willing to spend. “Magtampo-tampo ang police and siyudad, I think gamay rana kay bongbong raman,” he said.

Tumulak said only a portion of the second floor of the station will be expanded.

Meanwhile, Tumulak said that the Police Station 10 or Punta Princesa Police Station will soon be transferred to the old barangay hall of Labangon beside the Labangon Elementary School. He said the station needs to relocate to a more suitable location where they can have an ample space to park the police vehicles.

The police station is currently located along Tres de Abril Street. —
