Close to 5,000 job vacancies in sales up for grabs — DOLE

The Department of Labor and Employee (DOLE) on Wednesday said that nearly 5,000 job vacancies in the sales sector are available on its online job portal PhilJobNet.

Citing a report by the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), DOLE said the week's top vacancy is for promo salespersons, with 3,910 slots up for grabs.

There are also 342 slots for sales clerks, 329 slots for salesmen, 214 slots for retail trade salesmen, and 164 slots for sales associate professionals.

The second highest number of vacancies is for call center agents, with 3,265 slots available.

PhilJobNet also posted employment opportunities for domestic helpers (842), staff nurses (590), cashiers (485), construction laborers (467), customer service assistants (457), and service crew (434).

There are also vacancies for public health nurses (297), cooks (237), baggers (220), financial/accounts specialists (199), housemaids (198), delivery drivers (189), warehouse helpers (175), and administrative assistants (173).
