Strained marriage turns to a home in 'PlayHouse’

-

The story of a modern-day couple and a child who is seeking a new home will touch viewers’ hearts in the newest ABS-CBN program offering “PlayHouse,” seen outside the Philippines via The Filipino Channel (TFC) since Monday, September 17 at 11:20 a.m.

“PlayHouse” will revolve around the theme that love is a choice — one may choose to repeatedly love someone but also have a change of heart in an instant.

This is the story of Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo’s characters Patty and Marlon, two college lovers who eventually got married. However, the realities of a married life tested their dream of having a long-lasting relationship that leads to their split.

After a long time of living separately, the two meet again as Patty files for an annulment to formally separate from Marlon. Just when they think everything is over between them, an unfortunate tragedy will change their lives forever.

Their friends Emily and Brad will get into an accident, leaving their child Robin (Justin James Quilantang) behind. As the kid’s legal guardians, Patty and Marlon will be forced to stay together under one roof to take care of Robin and make sure he gets the love he needs. This gives Marlon the opportunity to patch things up with Patty, despite her constant disapproval.

Will Robin be the key to giving Patty and Marlon a second chance?

Aside from Zanjoe and Angelica, the rising love team of teen stars Kisses Delavin and Donny Pangilinan will also bring the romantic vibe to their viewers through their characters Shiela and Zeke who will turn from enemies to lovers.

Also part of “PlayHouse” are Kean Cipriano, AC Bonifacio, Ariella Arida, Dexter Doria, Nadia Montenegro, Ingrid Dela Paz, Jomari Angeles, Malou De Guzman, Smokey Manaloto and Maxene Magalona.
