Lucky nine for streaking Dreamscape in E-Leagues

Ralph Belarmino dropped 27 points on top of 11 rebounds and three steals as the Dreamscape Networks Lions obliterate­d the Shearwater Health Crusaders, 9573, to stay unbeaten in the EVO League of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball Season 14 last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Dom Santini Ortega contribute­d 16 points, while Jake Cainday posted a doubledoub­le with 14 points and 10 boards spiked with five assists and four steals as Dreamscape fortified its hold of the lead with an immaculate 9-0 slate.

Bryle Albert Ampong fired a game-high 29 points and Emmanuel Patena dished out 19 markers but to no avail as the Health Crusaders suffered their sixth loss in eigth games.

On the other hand, Kim Dominic Luzano led four players in double figures with 14 points as the The Results Manila Spartans annihilate­d the CTC-BPO Panthers, 8545, to stretch their winning streak to four.

Eubel Balbuena and Jhade Lawas came up with 13 points each, while John Lee Cadampog pitched in 10 points for the Spartans, who improved to 5-2. The Panthers slipped to 2-5. In the other EVO League match, the Cognizant Tech Solutions Gladiators made it two games in a row with a 75-53 trouncing of the Streamline Kangaroos.

Kimjo Christian Osomo finished with 14 points, while Ralph Alba donated 10 points and 10 rebounds as Gladiators raised their mark to 3-5 while handing the Kangaroos their eight straight loss in as many starts.

In the lone Elite Classic showdown, Ryan Miano sparkled with 26 points as the Accenture Sharks battered the Fusion BPO Services Dragons, 10780, to stay ahead of the pack with a 10-1 record. Aldene Batino tossed in 14 points, Julian Kyle Suerte added 12, Archie Brian Vincent Batua had 11 and Jetro Gonzaga cashed in 10 points for the Sharks.

Aldrin Fernandez scattered 23 points for the Dragons, who stumbled to 3-7.—
