ARC Hospitals opens in Mactan
ARC Hospitals kicks off its flagship medical center in Mactan Island (Cebu) when it finally opened in September 16, 2018.
ARC stands for Allegiant Regional Care (ARC) Hospitals. “Allegiant” connotes loyalty, while the word “Regional” implies focus on a particular area or region.

The vision for this project is to improve and provide quality, efficient and advanced medical services to the region. It is spearheaded by the group behind the successful Bluewater Resorts chain and inspired by the legacy of founder, late Consul Arcadio Alegrado — to provide and elevate the lives of the local community.
Collaborating with a team of highly experienced medical professionals, the focus behind this new venture is shifting to a more patient-centric approach in health management. ARC's advanced Hospital Information System (HIS) is key to this approach. It helps reduce stress and inconvenience prevalent in the current delivery of medical services, such as long consult wait times and redundant handling of medical records. The centralized system puts focus on improving outcomes (through technology, modern facilities and innovative value-based systems), all supporting a collaborative environment.

These provide ARCs local medical team access to cutting-edge medical research, resources and global referrals in resolving health care challenges.
