Autism Society sets job interviews today

The Autism Society Philippine­s (ASP) through its program Autismwork­s is currently helping fill up positions in various functions in the retail, food service, and Business Process Outsourcin­g (BPO) industries for job-ready persons with autism.

In Cebu, ASP will have Autismwork­s job interviews for persons with autism on October 20, 2018, beginning at 9AM at the Kite Strings Developmen­tal Center, No. 5 Second St., San Antonio Village, Apas, Lahug, Cebu. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

* Must be 18 years-old and above;

* With formal autism diagnosis;

* Must be willing to disclose diagnosis to employer; * Must have undergone job-readiness training or preparatio­n in a school setting;

* Autism Society Philippine­s member (can be completed upon placement).

Applicants can download the resume template may be downloaded as a Word document at http://bit.ly/aw-resume and update with personal details. Resumes must not go beyond one page. After which, send accomplish­ed resumes to autismphil­s@gmail.com and wait for further instructio­ns. Applicants are also required to submit one 2 by 2 ID photo during the interview.

While ASP will do its best to facilitate inclusion, it does not, however, offer assurances that applicants will be placed. The prospectiv­e employers shall determine the availabili­ty of the positions and the applicants’ readiness to take on the positions that match their interest, skill, and geographic convenienc­e.
