FastCat to focus on Cebu-Bohol route

-

Continuing its legacy of being the largest fleet of internationally classed catamaran Roll-On Roll-Off passenger and rolling cargo ferries in the Philippines, the Archipelago Philippine Ferries Corporation’s FastCat said it plans grow its business by focusing on Cebu-Bohol route and bringing in more ferries in the country.

“In the Visayas region, Cebu is the center of commerce, trade, education and industry. It is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines as it has transformed into a global hub for shipping, furniture-making, tourism, business processing services, and heavy industry,” the company said.

This year, FastCat is raising the bar high in the shipping industry as they added two brand new vessels to serve more routes to Filipinos and to make inter-island connectivity more accessible to its passengers through modernization.

Aside from its mission of providing safe, fast, and convenient ferry transport system, FastCat also aims to promote Philippines’ diverse culture and tourist attractions. One way of doing this is launching tour events just like “Cebu: Counting moments to a thousand journeys.” This will be in cooperation of these core brands: FastCat, Jam Liner and Philtranco.

Tourists from Bohol who are looking for an amazing tropical getaway combined with cravings for crispy Lechon, then Cebu is the perfect destination. Guests can explore Cebu by riding FastCat through Tubigon in Bohol.
